Notes on the experiment
01 / The starting point
TUBES takes its cue from the hypnotic music visualizers of early MP3 players such as Winamp and SoundJam MP. It brings that spirit to Apple TV: streaming sound paired with abstract, full-screen visuals that turn the television into a canvas.
02 / In practice
Let the LOW RES catalog play in the background, choose a visualizer, and change the color palette to suit the room or your mood. TUBES is a way to spend time with the music and give the big screen something worth looking at, even when you are not sitting down to watch it.
