The brief / The approach

Ford’s extreme-sports series for FUEL TV brought rally icons Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, Brian Deegan, Tanner Foust, and Vaughn Gittin Jr. together on screen. As digital creative lead, I shaped how the project moved from television into an interactive web and social platform—and how it lived on as ongoing content for Ford.

Digital Creative Lead / Ford / FUEL TV

Turning appointment television into an always-on digital experience.

Octane Academy was Ford’s extreme-sports competition series for FUEL TV, pairing emerging drivers with motorsport icons including Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, Brian Deegan, Tanner Foust, and Vaughn Gittin Jr.

As digital creative lead, I directed the website and every interactive component, defining how the energy and visual language of the television series translated to the web and social media. Working closely with the FUEL TV and BCA teams, we continually transformed new episodes, behind-the-scenes material, and campaign moments into timely digital content for Ford.
